Bonavita 5-Cup Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe
The Bonavita 5 Cup Coffeemaker with Stainless Steel Carafe BV 1500TS is one of Bonavita's next generation line of coffeemakers, optimized for smaller batches of coffee from 3 to 5 cups. The 1500TS ensures precisely heated water with an 1100 watt aluminum heating element that rapidly brings water to a boil, which forces it up a tube to the large shower head. Water is dispersed evenly over coffee grounds at the ideal 195-205 F for the fullest extraction. This smaller machine has two brewing modes: normal or pre-infusion mode which pulses water through for optimal saturation and to allow fresher grinds to degas. The carafe is a new double-wall design thermal carafe that has a stainless steel interior and exterior that will keep your coffee hot for hours. All plastic parts are BPA free and dishwasher safe, but the carafe is handwash only. Manufacturer's 2 year warranty.
